I don’t know about you but lean protein has been SCARCE where I’ve been shopping. Luckily during my amazing day job as a CrossFit/Nutrition Coach I get to speak with a ton of other Nutrition Coaches and gym owners for , and I’ve heard a lot of great ideas in the last few days! ⁣ ​⁣ ​1️⃣ Buy entire chickens or turkeys frozen. Better yet contact your local farms, they may have some. Eggs, too!⁣ ​2️⃣ Hit up the international grocery stores for protein⁣ ​3️⃣ Look for frozen fish. There was a ton of mahi mahi, salmon and shrimp in Pembroke Pines ​4️⃣ Get out of your comfort zone and TRY NEW VEGGIES! There were lots of root vegetables, different varieties of potatoes, and crazy fruits left. Time to eat the .⁣ ​5️⃣ Keep sticking with the perimeter of the grocery store! I can count on one hand how many items I purchase in the aisles. You can’t go wrong sticking with whole foods that contain a single ingredient. ⁣ ​⁣ ​I hope that helps. Congrats to our Coach Ryan & his wife on the birth of their first baby 🏻 🍼 !!! “Evan River Verdecia” born 9/13/2019 @ 8:12am, 7lbs 10oz & 22inches long. We are so happy for you both & can’t wait to meet him.
